Did you ever consider working in a correctional setting? If so, we have an opportunity to experience this challenging and rewarding practice setting on a PT, 6 flexible hours/week at the Cumberland County Jail in Bridgeton, New Jersey
We offer excellent compensation.
Responsibilities: Duties include: individual counseling under the supervision of the site Psychiatrist, crisis intervention, group and individual psychotherapy including anger management, psychological testing, coordinate discharge planning with the mental health team, completes admission assessments, periodic progress notes, psychological evaluations, document inmate progress through therapeutic goals and objectives, attend weekly case conferencing. Provide training to institutional staffon mental health issues.
Must have Doctorate degree in psychology from accredited university and be licensed in the state of New Jersey. Two years experience in providing clinical services and forensic experience is desirable.
